DECOY

DECOY is a Washington, DC based painter and illustrator. She has her BFA from Berry College (Rome, GA) and has studied at Studio Arts Centers International and Fuji Studios (Florence, Italy). She is one of the founding members of DC51 — artist collective. DECOY’s paintings, installations and visual urban commentaries start with an image from la vie quotidian that leaves a lastly impression on her. This image manifests into figurative imprecise lines that document the memory. Her compositions embrace negative space and bold color.
