Andreozzi, Maremi H.

Maremi Hoof Andreozzi is a painter from Washington D.C. who is living abroad in Barrigada, Guam for the next two years. She has her MFA from Clemson University and her BFA from Cornell University. She has exhibited consistently from 1997 to present in galleries, non-profit art spaces, art centers and universities from Washington D.C. to New York. Her most recent solo exhibition was at the Market Street Bar & Grill in Reston, Virginia. This is appropriate since Andreozzi’s paints contemporary still life. Her subject matter is fruit and vegetables. Her hyper realistic renditions of apples, strawberries, peppers etc… on elegantly textured backgrounds result in curious yet accessible tableaux.
